Hi, I'm Teresa

Thank you for stopping by. Prop Shop Pros is a small family business run from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. When you order from us, you're ordering from me. I answer the phone, I answer the emails, and I care about your event as if it were my own.

How it started: Mike and me

My husband Mike and I were married on September 6, 2009, and we were always up for a new adventure. Mike started his own DJ business years ago. In 2012 the two of us started The Joy Booth, our on-site photo booth company, because we wanted to offer a high-quality booth with great service. Long before Prop Shop Pros was ours, we were devoted customers of the woman who started it. We used her products at event after event and believed in them. In 2015, when she was ready to sell, she came to us, because she knew how much we loved what she made. We said yes, and we've been carrying it on ever since.

Mike had the kindest heart. If you had a question, he was always right there to answer it, and he often went further, mentoring people on their own businesses with all his years of industry experience. He had a work ethic like no one else. After a brave 16-month fight with esophageal cancer, he passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026, surrounded by family and friends. He was 54. I'm carrying on what we built together, and every order still has a little of Mike in it.

What we sell

We keep it simple and stick to two things we know well:

  • Photo booth backdrops. Sequin backdrops, shimmer wall backdrops and 3D flower walls for weddings, proms, parties and photo booth businesses.
  • Audio guest book phones. Rotary and push-button phones in lots of colors. Guests pick up the handset, hear your greeting and leave a message. Every message is saved to a micro SD card, so you can keep their voices forever. There's no subscription and no software to buy.

How ordering works

We are an online, ship-only shop, so there's no local pickup. Every order is packed and shipped from Wisconsin.
